Nutrition is 85% of the weight-loss equation. Eating enough of the right food at the right time will help you achieve your weight-loss goals. Combined with a Cardio & Strength Training program, you will be able to see startling results. Sugars, processed carbohydrates and portion size are the main cause of obesity. Schedule no fewer than four and as many as six meals a day. Drink lots of water--8 to 12 cups a day! A structured nutritional plan is a plan that does not deny food, but applies food in a manner that allows your body to retain and build muscle.
There is a popular trend of thinking that suggests there is a magical “fat burning” zone for exercise. However, body fat reduction can only take place when there is more energy being burned than consumed. This is known as the Law of Thermodynamics. The only way (outside of surgery), one will lose weight or body fat is if one consumes less calories (food & drink), then one expends (activity). If an individual is exercising, but not losing weight, he/she is somehow, someway consuming more calories than he/she is expending.
